Hi, I’m Dr. Faruk—a veterinarian, cat lover, and the person behind Cateatwhat.

Like many cat owners, I’ve spent years wondering:

“Can my cat eat this?”

Before becoming a vet, I used to constantly worry whether a bite of fruit, meat, or something off my plate was safe for my cats. That curiosity never went away—even after vet school. So I decided to create this blog to answer those everyday questions with real, reliable information.

I live with two cats—Osmo and Safka—who inspire everything on this site. They’re part of the team, and we even use AI-generated images based on them to bring the articles to life.

For writing, I go by Dr. Fox, a simple nickname that lets me speak a little more freely and keep things fun.

Everything you read here is based on real veterinary knowledge, personal experience, and a genuine love for cats. My goal is to make Cateatwhat a trustworthy place for cat owners who just want clear answers—and maybe a little entertainment along the way.
